We are so excited to announce the arrival of baby twin girls Far Sai (ฟ้าใส) and Chun Jai (ชื่นใจ).
Without your generous support through our emergency medical appeal, this family would not have had the easy access to medical care in Thailand for the safe delivery of these precious twins.
On our recent trip to Burma this week we met this couple expecting twins. Twins might sounds exciting to most of us but in this case, for the couple, it is quite the opposite. Generally babies can be delivered at home in the village but because this family is having twins the mother will require surgery.
Living on the Burma side of the border to Thailand there is only basic medical facilities so when there is a difficult or emergency medical procedure required, these people need to cross the border to receive these in Thailand. These people have to pay a high rate for this as they are not Thai citizens.
Thanks to your support, we raised funds for the surgery. The family is completely overwhelmed and sends their gratitude for your support. Aassive thank you to all that donated – we even had some extra funding left to buy some clothing and baby care supplies.
