Echo International Aid’s first pop up bar fundraiser at the Old Melbourne Gaol has proven to be a complete success -$10,628 raised for building and development projects on the Thai Burma border! Echo International Aid want to take this opportunity to thank everyone that attended, volunteered, supported, donated and made the event one to remember!
The night was full of fun, entertainment and socialising in what was one of the creepiest and best venues in Melbourne to have a pop up bar. Music by the one and only Matt Doll Thomas was just the way to set the vibe and see the hall of the Gaol turn into a dance floor! Food vans galore delivered plenty of delicious cuisines from all over the globe and attendees wandered the Gaol exploring all it had to offer.
Meanwhile the counter was ticking over for the cause that was the reason for holding this wonderful event and while everyone was having the best night they consequently raised $10,628 for Echo International Aid’s building and development project on the Thai Burma border. This will see The Genesis Network (U.S) match dollar for dollar to build a whole new library for a remote jungle school…
