The world as we knew it is gone!
It’s hard to come to terms with the state the world is in right now.
People have been infected, more have been affected.
Lost incomes all around, masks on our faces, social distancing from friends and family.
It’s a nightmare we all wish we’d wake up from, only that we can’t wake up from it.
So, what do we do? Do we roll on our backs and give up? Absolutely not. What we do is adapt, like we always do in times of crisis. Adapt and survive. We push on in the new world, we fight our way out of this mess, and we thrive in this chaos.
And this is exactly what we have been doing at Echo International Aid. As the world adjusts to the “new normal,” we couldn’t forget the less fortunate people that look up to us for help. Yes, sure, things have slowed down a bit around here, but we can’t just throw in the towel and give up on all those people. We have still been funding numerous emergency medical aid situations, and one scholarship that’s still active.
keep moving forward with our mission, albeit slowly, but even a single step is better than stagnation. We’re helping where we can and doing our best not to abandon the people who look up to us in this time of crisis.
So, friend, if you are feeling overwhelmed, just hang in there. Hold on tight, and as the waves of this pandemic crash and everything settles, you’ll be glad you didn’t give up.
We are a resilient species, having survived on this planet through the worst plagues and natural disasters. We help each other up in times of crisis. We encourage each other when the going gets tough. And we always adapt and overcome whatever challenges that pop up in our lives. That’s how we’ve managed to survive as a species for tens of thousands of years.
Those before us survived worse plagues with far fewer resources, we will also survive through this, and not only that, we will thrive! And one day, we’ll look back at this time, and smile knowing we overcame.
